Scenic tour and brief introduction to the most important monuments in Rome; a walk that will open the gates of the city and its thousand-year history to you in a constructive and relaxing way.
Starting from the terrace of Castel Sant'Angelo with an all-round view of Rome and the Basilica of St. Peter, you walk through Baroque, Renaissance and Jewish districts to the Tiber Island, the Theatre of Marcellus, the Mouth of Truth and the Circus Maximus, the famous ancient stadium used for chariot-races. From here you continue to a scenic point on the Capitol, from which you can admire the Forum Romanum and the Colosseum. The tour ends at the Altare della Patria, or Altar of the Nation, the monument symbolizing the unity of Italy.
(If you have your own car, the tour also includes a visit to the Baths of Caracalla, the Aventine Hill and St. Peter's Square.)
